PrimeTime Extended Day Program

prime time Families register for Marston’s Primetime program by registering through San Diego Unified Primetime. Registration usually begins in March of each year (about 6 months prior to the upcoming school year). When the school year begins at Marston, there are usually several families on the Primetime waitlist, but after a 2-3 weeks into the school year, most/all families are accommodated. Please have a childcare back-up plan for the first few weeks of school in the case your family is not given a spot for the first few weeks of school. The PrimeTime Before and After School Program at Marston Middle School works in partnership with the YMCA of San Diego to provide students and families a safe place for students to interact and participate with academic enrichment activities / clubs.

Monday - Friday 6:30am-8:00am & 2:40pm -6:00pm
and 1:10pm -6:00pm on minimum days

As presented during the August 26th 2022 PrimeTime Parent/Orientation

  • AM Program sign-in will be in room 116 from 6:30am to 7:30am and PM Program sign-out will be in room 116 from 2:40pm to 6:00pm
  • Students who arrive to AM Program after 'late arrival time" as documented on Student Participation Form, must be signed in by parent / guardian (otherwise will be counted as an absence). A parent/legal guardian must contact us via site phone to ensure that we are able to have your student join our program for the day.
  • Students who leave PM Program before 'early release time" as documented on the Student Participation Form, must be signed out by parent / guardian (otherwise will be counted as an absence) A parent/legal guardian must contact us via site phone to ensure that we are able to have your student leave our program for the day.
  • Marston PrimeTime Program will be requiring attendance for each student every single day. Students who will not be able to attend program must have a parent/legal guardian reach out to us via site phone each day the student will be absent from program.
  • Students/families who are not fulfilling the attendance requirement will be subject to losing their spots in our program
