 2ND QUARTER BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT – TONIGHT NOVEMBER 5th GET ZOOM LINKS BELOW
Back to School Night for our 2nd quarter classes (periods 4,5 and 6 on the student schedule) will be on Thursday, November 5 from 6-7 pm. The format will be the same as the 1st quarter Back to School Night. Clickhereto get the Zoom/Google Meet link for each session.
  • Session with Period 4 Teacher = 6:00 - 6:15 p.m.
  • Session with Period 5 Teacher = 6:20 - 6:35 p.m.
  • Session with Period 6 Teacher = 6:40 - 6:55 p.m.
CLAIREMONT HIGH SCHOOL EVENT TONIGHT NOVEMBER 5TH (just before Marston’s Q2 Back to School Night)
Clairemont Community! We invite YOU to join us for a virtual informational event about the great programs at Clairemont High School! On Thursday, November 5 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm, CHS will be hosting an event for prospective parents and students. During the live event, which will be held on Zoom, participants will have a chance to hear from the CHS Admin Team, see a presentation titled "10 Reasons to Become a Chieftain," take a virtual video tour of the campus, and meet with a live panel of CHS teachers and students. INSTRUMENT PICK-UP NOVEMBER 6th
The new pick-up date for guitar and orchestra will be November 6th from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This will be in the parking lot next to the auditorium.
 
STUDENT FEEDBACK ON FIRST QUARTER – VIDEO CHAT WITH THE PRINCIPAL NOVEMBER 12TH
All Marston students are invited to provide feedback on the first quarter on November 12th. Students must access their grade level Google Classroom (the one that the counselors set up) for times and Zoom link. This event is for students only. The feedback will help us reinforce and refine our practices.
 
PARENT-ADMIN CHATS –  NEXT MEETING IS DECEMBER 10th - TOPIC IS INTERNET SAFETY
The next Parent-Admin Chat is scheduled for Thursday, December 10th at 5pm on ZoomThis event will actually be an internet safety presentation by SafetyNet. They have provided great presentations in the past and we expect this to be the case again. Click hereto learn more about SafetyNet and the San Diego Police Foundation.
 
DRIVE-THROUGH AWARDS CEREMONY – TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 19TH
We are planning a drive-through awards ceremony based on Q1 academic and citizenship grades. The event is tentatively planned for 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. on November 19. This will either be at Marston or perhaps at another nearby location that has more space. Please save the date for now. We will notify recipients and provide more information at a later time.

MARSTON LIBRARY UPDATES
The Marston Library is now ready for students to check out library books! Please click here for instructions on how to place a hold on a library book. If your student would prefer to read eBooks, click here for instructions on how to find and check out eBooks.
If you still need to pick up textbooks, Chromebooks, agendas, or class materials, you may come to the library during one of these open door events:
Thursday 11/5, 11:00-1:00
Monday 11/9, 12:00-2:00
Thursday 11/12, 11:00-1:00
Monday 11/16, 12:00-2:00
